We had the privilege to celebrate the best of the best in the glazing industry last night at our annual holiday party at Daily’s Sports Grill in RSM.

Our employees work so hard serving all of Orange County, making each home they visit more beautiful for it (just check out their amazing work on our website). The job they perform is labor intensive and arduous, but they show up each and every day and work miracles. For those reasons and more, we relished the opportunity to show them how truly grateful we are to have them on our team. And what would a holiday party be without the MVG traditional arm wrestling match to end the night?

A huge congratulations to our 2022 Employee of the Year Kyle Howeth!

We hope you and yours enjoy making holiday memories too this season!

In keeping with our twice-yearly tradition, our hardworking guys at MVG received an exciting paid day of relaxation and teambuilding with their choice of either golfing or fishing this past Friday. Our fishing group came home with the award and cash prize for the largest fish caught while our group of golfers competed for the best round of golf and a Roger Dunn gift card.
At Mission Viejo Glass, we take pride in our amazingly talented installers, estimators, and managers. We also recognize that our final products are reflective of a healthy work environment and happy employees. We consider each of our employees like extended family members and look forward to treating each of them again at our next company outing.

Cheers to 25 years with MVG!
In what is normally considered a very nomadic profession, our General Manager Wylie Taylor has certainly bucked that trend and found his forever home with Mission Viejo Glass. A natural born leader and fervent problem solver, Wylie began his career with us as a field installer 25 years ago! His wealth of glazing industry knowledge paired with many natural abilities; Wylie quickly worked his way up the ranks with Mission Viejo Glass. Graciously sporting whatever hat our small business requires of him on any given day, you can find his smiling face behind our front counter at our main location in Laguna Niguel. As loyal and dependable as they come, Wylie averages one sick day every three years, you can literally set your watch to his consistency. Ready to weather any storm, Wylie’s reliable, ever-positive presence during the 2008 economic recession was a constant source of stability during very uncertain times. Putting the company’s needs before his own is a common theme for Wylie. At the forefront of the current global pandemic Wylie was one of the first employees to step up, put his own fears aside and get back to work. Despite the lack of definitive knowledge on COVID-19 at the time, Wylie proudly sported his “installer hat” for the first time in many years and happily arrived at our customers’ homes completing every install without complaint. His response when thanked for his fearless dedication; “Mission Viejo Glass has always been there for me, I am more than happy to do the same”. Wylie is not only a stellar employee; he is also a loving father, brother, friend, and is currently engaged to the love of his life Renate. Those of us lucky to know him are forever grateful for his dedication, and allegiance both on and off the clock. Congratulations and thank you for 25 fantastic years at Mission Viejo Glass Wylie Taylor!

Mission Viejo Glass, Inc. is always trying to show our appreciation to our valued team members,  so a Golf Day was arranged and enjoyed. It was a great team building event allowing our already close employees to relax and enjoy a beautiful day on the course. This is a phenomenally talented group that we are so fortunate to call respected and valued members of the Mission Viejo Glass, Inc. family!

Friday the 13th was definitely a lucky day for 4 members of the Mission Viejo Glass team. Wylie Taylor, Jeff Kleppe, Jeramie Stacklie and Mark Dunn enjoyed a day of sport fishing off of Dana Point Harbor. It was a beautiful day to be in Southern California enjoying the sun, sea air, food and drink. You can tell by the picture, a good time was had by all. We can never thank our "family" enough for everything they do to make Mission Viejo Glass strong!
