Frequently Asked Questions: Frameless Glass Enclosures

What is the thickness of the glass?  Standard frameless glass is 3/8” in thickness.  Other thicknesses are also available on request.

Which is the most popular glass type and why? Clear glass is chosen in the vast majority of projects because it does not obstruct the look of the customer’s tile.

What finishes are available for the hardware?  Standard finishes include:
• Polished Chrome
• Satin
• Brass (Gold)
• Satin Nickel
• Oil Rubbed Bronze
Other finishes are available.

How soon can you send someone to measure and give me a price? A representative will be scheduled to go to your home and give you a price on the spot!

Once I say yes, what is the lead time? Average processing time is 5 to 7 working days from the time you authorize the order to the time of installation.  This applies for the standard hardware finishes; custom finishes and/or oversize units may take additional time.  You will be advised of your lead time at the time you place your order.

When is payment due? Do you need a deposit to start the order?  A 50% deposit is required before commencement of work.  Final payment is due after the installation is complete.

How long does the installation take?  Usually 3 hours.  Steam or larger units will require additional time. 

What type of warranty do you offer?  Every enclosure comes with a standard one year warranty on parts and labor.  

I am not ready, but can I get a price so I can see if it fits my budget?   Yes!  See one of our sales representatives or give us a call and we will give you an approximate price based on the measurements you provide us.  When you are ready we’ll send a representative to measure and confirm your price.
